Ah, the scent of triple decocted pilsners are in the air; belgian wits are queued in the beer recipe calculators, and rhizomes are being pre-ordered. Spring must be near!
This month’s meeting will be held at Roots Brewing Co. on Main Street in Oneonta, this Friday 3/15 @ 6:30pm. Russ and Jason were kind enough to invite us back again. It is a historic place for the brewclub, and will be a frequently visited venue in the near future as well. So, we are making the most of the present as they continue to renovate and revitlize the space! Be sure to bring
1. A chair
2. Homebrews to accommodate 30+
3. Tasting Rubrics (see margin for pdf)
4. Writing Utensils for note-taking.
This month’s meeting we will focus, briefly, on the specifics of how water affects your beer. Yes, it will be more riveting than you anticipate; and yes, samples will be available upon request. Dr. Trevor Ostrander will be leading the discussion; come thirsty!
