- A date has tentatively been set for the trip to Helderberg Mead Works, Royal Meadery, and Green Wolf Brewing, on Saturday Oct. 1, pending the final confirmation from our van owner/operators Barb & Bob. Backup date is Oct. 8.
- The time has come for the much discussed "Grocery Store Beer" intra-club brewing challenge! We will taste these beers at the November meeting. The rules are simple: ALL of your ingredients MUST come from (any) Price Chopper, even the yeast! Good luck everyone!
- Please attend the Sep. meeting if at all possible, for we will be accepting nominations for new officers.
- There were many interesting beers sampled at this meeting including:
- Jesse brought an imperial oatmeal stout
- Michael brought a Cluster-Fug, that has aged into what reminds one of a hopped Iced tea and not very good
- Wes brought his Big Brew day Brown to revisit and some Bee Nektr Tuco-style Freakout, and ghost member's (Juston) Cucumber-Jalapeño pale that was the best of the night
- Frank brought a Spacedust beer to share
- The next meeting is scheduled for September 16 tentatively to be held at the new Cidery in Oneonta's West End, 107 Winney Hill Rd. Suite 1.
