Hey Hopheads! I hope your bines are doing better than mine…where the heck is summer?!?! Hopefully the weather turns around in time for our August meeting, which will be another picnic-style outdoor meeting. This time we’ll be meeting at Frank’s and Matt’s houses (their back yards abut one another, forming one super back yard!) in West Oneonta, map below. The address is 3932/3938 St. Highway 23. Frank asks that we RSVP to him, as they plan on treating us to a huge chunk of meat, cooked on his outdoor rotisserie, and they need to know just how huge of a chunk to cook! (I hear it will at least be a turkey). Frank’s numbers are 607-267-4758 (H) and 607-437-5601 (C). As noted above, things will kick off around 1 pm, with the food ready around 3 (subject to the wiles of outdoor cooking).

Topics of discussion will be our “field trip” and whether or not to vote in a new President or VP, and perhaps we can revisit our experiment to see if consuming yeast before drinking really prevents intoxication (Todd, you’re coming, right?).
